PROFESSOR LAYTON
♥♥♥♥
FUTURE LUKE'S OPINION: He's the professor and, as his apprentice "all grown up", Luke is expected to have strong, positive feelings toward him. He treats him as a teacher and someone to be respected, as well as a friend and colleague.

CLIVE'S OPINION: Clive's thoughts on the professor are complicated. He doesn't hate him, but nor does he really like him. Rather, he sees him as a worthy adversary and potential threat...but this isn't all. He also sees him as his saviour; someone who rescued him once. In a sense, he hopes that Layton will save him again--this time from himself and from the vengeance that consumes him.

LUKE TRITON
♥♥♥

FUTURE LUKE'S OPINION: Little me! Likes to tease him frequently, but generally treats him as a friend--or like anyone would treat the younger version of themselves.

CLIVE'S OPINION: Indifferent. He's a very convenient means to an end, being that he's masquerading as his older counterpart. Has no ill-will towards Luke, but that's about the extent of it.

TIFA LOCKHART
♥♥

She helped to orient him with this new world, and was rather friendly about it. He doesn't know her well, but his opinion of her leans toward amiable.
*tifa has left johto

RAMONA FLOWERS
♥♥

Engaged in a back in forth with her upon first meeting about whether or not he's supposed to believe that Johto actually exists. Of course, now he has no choice but to believe in it. Their second meeting involved discussion over the name of his Sneasel.

RUA
♥♥

Discussed the nature of his Pokemon upon his arrival, but said little more to one another afterwards. His attitude toward Rua is evenly neutral.

BEAT
♥♥

Clive broke his brain by claiming to be the older version of little Luke. Lots of "YO"s and "WHA"s occurred after that.

REMI ALTAVA
♥♥♥

FUTURE LUKE'S OPINION: This is the old Remi that he used to know as a child, and she hasn't changed a bit by his standards. Still, it's a relief to see a familiar face-- and now that he's grown out of reacting to her teases by parrying with quips of his own, their conversations are actually enjoyable.

CLIVE'S OPINION: A girl he only knows through research, though has become very well acquainted with during his time in Johto. In fact, some could say that he actually likes talking to her: after all, she's clever and often even funny, given that Clive's sense of humour has been very dull lately. All in all, he finds himself legitimately enjoying her company, even now that he has joined her travelling team.

SHELLY DE KILLER

FUTURE LUKE'S OPINION: This man is a fellow gentleman and someone to be respected, along with pleasant company. He's met with him on a few occasions in Violet City.

CLIVE'S OPINION: He strongly believes that he's hiding something, though his suspicions are never seen outside his "future Luke" facade. For now, he'll play along until he can find any substantial evidence that this "John Doe" is keeping some kind of secret.

INSPECTOR CHELMEY

"But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure.
