Congratulations on your win, Luke. It seems that I'm falling behind with these badges, haha.

[Now, as for this "other" Layton...]

Hm, yes. Have you spoken to this "future me"? Are you certain that he is indeed Hershel Layton? [Cause the actual Layton is having a lot of doubts about it.]

Why, thank you, professor. Of course, if you ever need to get any training in, I would be more than obliged to pit my pokemon against yours.

We've spoken, but only briefly. There is a possibility that he may be your future self-- though I myself am a bit sceptical.

... I'm afraid I haven't yet had the chance to explain to you the predicament of London in my present.

[Hello, young man. Have a child applauding you at the screen.]

Congratulations, sir! You must be good at this thing.

[Another Master Hershel? That only confirms Lugh's suspicions about the man's true identity. His smile has lessened a bit - he seems worried.]

... Is that possible? To have two versions of the same person in the same place? I met Mast- I mean, the professor a week ago by this device... hmmm.

Thank you! I suppose I do have a knack for coaxing the best out of my partners.

It's hard to say. I myself have witnessed the power of this world to summon duplicates of a person here-- after all, I'm travelling with a younger version of myself. Unfortunately, given the professor's popularity in my time, it would not be unheard of for a man to masquerade as him.

[... "Coaxing?" Is it a new form of training?]

W-what? That's... what kind of magic could do such thing... but stop other kinds at the same time... Okay, sir. I'll try to keep my eyes open and if I see something wrong or an older professor, I'll tell you.

That's very kind of you. Perhaps with your help, we can put an end to all of this time travel confusion.

Wait. Doubles of the same person from different times can show up here?!

[Smoker is overly intense about this. Like it was life or death...]

It has happened before. And it seems to be occurring more often amongst those who have dabbled in time travel.

Time travel?

Hn. Probably not the same then.... [Trails off looking lost in thought.]

Hm? You wouldn't happen to have experience in this sort of thing, would you, sir?
