It's more that I'm looking for one.

[But still no bells... clearly he hasn't attracted the one he's looking for yet. Hm. Well in either case he just will have to keep up his affair of feeding the birds here and occasionally talking to them. He's working to befriend them as well, after all]

[...What is this. No Shinen is coming out from this woman and a strong feeling of death has suddenly filled the air around him. It's possible she was like Nel, right? A shinigami? but still]

[For once, someone isn't sleeping in. Something has inspired Buffy to take her normalcy a bit more seriously. So, this morning, she's up for a jog. In the absence of any superfast vampires to chase down, she has finally figured that a little bit of a daily run couldn't hurt.

She is towards the end of it when she comes to the square. Oh, Atsuki. It's like she's always running into you here. She smiles brightly but comes to a stop, hands on her knees for a moment. God, how do normal people do this for fun?]

Looking for a pet, huh?

[See, this is because he's always here. But that said, he sees her tired self and the slightly red and green-tinged (with a purple overtone) set of Shinen she has and can't help but find it somewhat endearing. He throws a bit more seed on the ground before answering-]

More friends than a pet, but the same idea.

You think they're friend material? [She asks with curiousity, not crass.

On the tail of her question, she begins a slow stretch. She pulls one arm across her body, holding it there with the other at its shoulder. She could feel a burn and it wasn't an entirely negative one.] Because I think they'll just be the kind to eat you out of house and home and fly off.

I know a couple of people with some human friends a bit like that too. [Moochers and all, you know. After all, everyone has some friend like that, right?]

[Chuckle. Atsuki shrugs in his seat-] Something like that. I thought it might be in my best interests to befriend some birds.

Not so much as avian sociology, unless that happens to fall under the study too. [That's... only mildly sarcastic. It's certainly not biting sarcasm either]
