So it was pretty cool today, or yesterday i should say rather. rosemary, thom, misha and i hung out, had some pizza, eggnog, and krispy kremes, and hung out in my room watching some movies. we rented PARTY MONSTER, which was super cool. Maucaulay Culkin is awesome in this film. He plays the character superbly well. Made me want to pick on my guitar ( Read more... )

I liked Party Monster, and it's weird how he's grown up. To me it seems like he actually lives that life.
Lol,the INTERPOL thing.
CACA! HAHA
I also enjoyed Pieces of April, it sucked at first(her life in the movie)and then it's a happy ending! GOOD STUFF!

I love all those movies.

Party Monster hits right at home since I have lived experiences like that in the past. I even remember the whole "club kid" scene, and know some of the real people portraited in the movie (Keoki for example, deejayed a night I did at a local club a few months ago).

The People Under The Stairs is probably Carpenter's last good film. I love all the SnM refferences. Creepy indeed.

I think I was one of the few people to be happy about Pieces of April when it was first released. The storyline and the actors performances are great, but the fact that the film was completely digitally shot made it a little annoying to watch. Then again, only a film snob would really care about things like that.

I'll shut-up now. =P

that's so cool that you used to be a club kid and knew some of the real people. those must have been some real crazy times. and yeah, it was kinda weird the way Pieces of April was shot, but then after a while i got used to it. fantastic movies though!

I wasn't part of THAT club scene, but I have been part of the hollywood club scene for a few years now. I have seen a lot of the same stuff that happens in Party Monster in real life. that is how I can relate. I do know some of the peopel from that scene, like Keoki, but a lot of the people in that movie have either faded away or ODed.
