i read all I do not know if the story is true except that there is one small mistake.. there is a date on the papers that are signed with pams name.. except it is writen in french
Thank you. The mistake will be corrected. As far as I can see, you know both French and English. Could you please write what’s written in the police report in English?
Your name is really long, Mr. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CROCK OF SHIT. But it seems you can’t say anything about the article. Why write only for the sake of introducing yourself?

I also don’t want to think that Jim was killed, I always liked the version according to which he simply went into some sort of hiding more. The thought about the murder crossed my mind suddenly, but it made so much more sense. Alas, now I tend to think that Jim was simply beat to death rather than shot. This version explains more, but makes Pam seem even worse. I think that exhumation is impossible because those who made that secret burial still have power. I don’t think that the exhumation is impossible ‘cause it’s good for The Doors’ ratings, it’s just a coincidence. The band has nothing to do with it. I’m a bit worried about Hank. At first he was interested into my publication and wrote quite a lot of comments, and then suddenly he wrote no more, not here or in his journal. I’d like to think that he’s alright, and it’s not because of his health or his interest to my article.

I don’t think that Jim was so influential that somebody in the government was really afraid of what he was saying. Though the case against Jim, of course, was more to tell him “know your place”, rather than because somebody was really interested if he showed anything on that show or not. For FBI (not even CIA) it would have been easier and cleverer to deal with Jim on their own territory, in the USA. So I still consider my version to be the most believable. And, naturally, I don’t believe in Jim’s “disappearance”, because too many facts speak of the contrary. I’d also like to remind you that during his phone talk with Manzarek, Siddons said that he was afraid and that’s why he couldn’t demand to open the coffin (see Manzarek’s autobiography, “Light My Fire
( ... )
FBI? France?

OK, I fully understand Your point, but please describe me, why do you think, that Jim was killed by the french personage? I'd rather think that the influence of Jim (and also the other rock-idols) at that time was very big (in the USA, but not in Europe) Think about the "Unknown Soldier" video, which was fully against the Wietnam war, which was supported by Nixon... The USA gov was afraid of... Better than the french. Maybe they had a french contact?
The circumstances of Hendrix's death is also not clear totally.

I don’t think that Jim’s murder had anything to do with politics. In my opinion, it was an accident. Obviously, there were drinks, drugs, Pam, who, as we know, was de Breteuil’s lover, de Breteuil himself, clearly with a friend, because de Breteuil himself wasn’t influential enough to make such a cover-up afterwards, and of course there was Jim, who knew or at least guessed about Pam’s relationship with de Breteuil. It’s clear that it was a highly explosive mixture, and a conflict could arise any minute. I think there was a fight because of personal hostility, and it ended tragically for Jim.
