I don't know why I'm posting this to the comm, but whatever we need more posts. And I did say you could post pretty much whatever you want

I don't think that's the only reason why someone would vote for McCain. I'm not too fond of Obama, for many reasons, but I'm not fond of McCain, either. I don't think the choice is just between those two. You have a lot of smaller parties as well. Remember Ron Paul? Yeah, I loved Ron Paul.
Palin is an idiot. She doesn't even know what the VP does.
The only way I'd ever vote McCain, was if he chose Colbert as his running mate. XD
I talked to her about that after I posted this (and after she watched part of today's RNC-ness) and she's changed her mind. She said she's definitely not voting for McCain, but still doesn't want to vote for Obama.
I understand why my step-dad wants to vote for McCain though. He's a republican and a redneck, and with the exception of this past year, he's always had lots of money. So, I guess he's still kind of in that whole rich republican asshole state of mind.
I'm (grudgingly, I admit) voting for McCain because I do lean more on the republican side. It's not just about lower taxes (although that is a BIG part of it), but also for some other reasons. I'm rather impressed with Obama's ability to capture the crowd, but not enough that I'd actually vote for him.
I mean, I'm not fond of republicans *sad face* I hope you mean that you're more not fond of republican policy, as opposed to republicans themselves. The problem with such a polarized political system is that we tend to take our personal frustrations out on the opposing number, but I have many, many friends who are as liberal as they come, and although I don't agree with their politics, it doesn't change that I love them dearly.
I didn't mean that I'm like "OMG UR A REPUBLICAN. GTFO. D:<", but I don't like a lot of the republicans I know personally. But maybe it's just because all the republicans I know are racist and homophobic. (read: my step-dad)
I'm not really fond of liberals either. A lot of them seem to be douchebags.
So what I'm really saying is: I don't like people.
MWAHAHA I TURNED IN MY VOTER REGISTRATION FORM TODAY. WHICH MEANS I CAN TOTALLY VOTE THIS YEAR. My friends tell me I shouldn't if I value our country. lolol.
Honestly though, I am so not into politics. I'm not for either Obama or McCain. I probably only registered now to get it out of the way. xD But if I DID end up voting for one of them, it'd more likely be for Obama, just because I think it's time for a party change. *history dork* If the Democrats can't improve the country after their stint, then I think it's time to give up and REALLY work on getting Colbert into the presidency. Pffft~

Obviously, Obama is the messiah.
