So yesterday, in case you didn't see int on Facebook, Twitter, I think I mentioned it here, or otherwise had no contact with me at all in the past 2 months, I had my eye surgery. Technically it's called a bliateral lateral resection. And I guess I should warn that I'm typing with no glasses and not looking very often -- touch type FTW! (we'll see

Thanks! The silly thing is that it never occurred to me that despite having surgery to correct the original problem 28 yrs ago, there might be some sort of follow-up. It took meeting a friend's then-boyfriend (now husband) with a similar condition who actually bothered to research things for me to realize :)

Rae's experiencing technical difficulties with her iPhone right now, so she'd like to point out that the surgery moved her muscles 6 millimeters, not centimeters. 'Cause that would be pretty damn crazy when you think about it.
