Donna Noble:
While Donna was born human, she was part of a two-way instantaneous biological metacrisis with the Doctor's handy spare hand which altered her mind giving her the consciousness of a Time Lord. Even though that knowledge is now locked away, he might still be able to see her mind isn't completely normal. Oh, and also she has timey-wimey germs aka void stuff from travelling in the TARDIS.

Do as you will with her head - within reason. Of course, she has serious issues with letting wandering fingers near her temples.

Gene Hunt:
[~spoiler~]Gene is actually a dead nineteen year old who has been living in limbo for 30 years. He's a sort of guardian angel guiding dead coppers through limbo to heaven.. Feel free to poke around with that information.

I'm fine with these for Elle, Veronica, and Ruby. Heads up on Elle, though - she's already got some mental problems. Most of them are holes in her memory which has affected her impulse control and such a bit, and the rest are from being encouraged to hurt and kill people. She now rather enjoys such things. So she might try to get revenge if she figures out what he's been doing.

noted on the mental problems. shame he can't actually make any modifications--he'd have a field day messing her up further and turning her loose on someone.

She's easy enough to manipulate, if he wants to try his hand at it. Mostly father figures. She's already agreed to help Loki and is trying to do what Ianto wants so he'll like her. She's kind of starved on the approval front.

oh jesus. i'm definitely on board for that. i don't know that he'd ever manage father figure status but vulnerable and easy to manipulate sounds like something he'd go for immediately.

> Cas isn't a human and his brain isn't really his brain, so the telepathic stuff should work, but it would definitely feel very different from a human.

> It sounds like his presence might make Cas feel a little uncomfortable and not be entirely sure why.

> Cas' mind is kind of a vast and powerful thing. If he can handle what he sees, he can try, but I think it would be harder than getting the same from a human.

> Again, he can try, but I think Cas is harder to affect in these ways than a human is. If you did want to do something like that, I would want to work out the specifics, because CAs is already not-quite-mentally stable.

it seems like if Cas wanted to put up a fight about mental intrusions, he probably could, and yeah it seems like it wouldn't be as easy to mess around in there either. who knows if it'll ever come up though, we'll see!

We can always work it out if it comes up. I'm really not against him being messed with at all and I'm sure there are plenty of things around that could weaken him and make him more susceptible to this sort of thing, too.

I think probably Zagreus would have some difficulty with Gabriel's brain - it's the same thing as Castiel up there; the chemical reactions of the brain and nervous system etc. can have an effect on them, and there is a link between the body and the angel itself, but usually the angel can override the physical brain. Of course, if it's a power affecting the mind of the being rather than the body, it should still work. I shouldn't think an angel's mind would be hugely unlike that of a human, especially in Gabriel's case, since he acts pretty human anyway. If Zagreus can get access, he's welcome to do whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned >D

Zagreus's presence sounds like something Gabriel would sense and be uncomfortable with, but he probably wouldn't act on that. Monsters are bigger concerns. (Also Gabriel is chicken)

In humans, i generally take the 'mind' to just be...in the brain, mostly. for things that have a lot more mind to go on, like time lords, or where the mind might be mostly divorced from a projection, like tardises or presumably angels inhabiting people...well, he acts on minds and auras rather than physical bodies, somewhat limited in capability by being physical himself. i'd say an angel's mind would be very alien, and formiddable if it fights back? it would probably help if i watched more than one episode of SPN, huh...

I'm up for any of these things. But I gotta warn ya, Cara's mind is a weird place, what with her memories of being taken over by a demon for a year :p
