I found out several days ago that my brother has decided to join the army. He leaves on the 1st of January. How do I feel about this? Well, at first I was pretty bummed out. And I think I still am, but mostly because I know I'll be worrying for him, and I hate to think of how my parents and my sister and the rest of my family will worry for him ( Read more... )

when my best friend from high school joined the army, i felt completely betrayed. i got over it, of course, but when i first heard about it, it felt kinda like getting dumped.
