World March for Peace and Non-Violence

The World March will begin in New Zealand on October 2, 2009, the anniversary of Gandhi’s birth, declared the "International Day of Nonviolence" by the United Nations. Wonderful ! I hope that it receives lots of publicity and makes the desired impact - and that the folks don't all catch colds .

Hopefully it will get some decent media coverage as well. If nothing else it will link up the various peace groups.

In Melbourne, AU there's an organising committee despite not being on the route!
