"If it's his aural fixation with Miss Evans, too, I think this would be a bit superfluous," Remus added, perching precariously on the foot of the bed, dominating the remaining two square centimeters of space that Sirius was not occupying.
"However," he continued, "something tells me this has very little to do with Miss Evans. At least," he went on, shooting a suspicious look at James, "I hope it doesn't."
James scowled, almost knowing exactly the words that would happen. "No, no. It's not about Evans. It's something much more important." He said, now looking pointedly at Sirius, before back at Remus again.
"Remember those transfiguration books we were looking at mate? I think if we're going to actually go through with it, we might as well start now."
"I told you, no. It's too dangerous, and completely not worth it. I don't even want to know the specifics-- I know enough to say that you're being very stupid." Remus sighed, then paused, and looked around.
