[It was only a couple of days after Luke made the announcement about Xion's birthday party, and he's spent that time trying to think about what to do. He thinks he has an idea, but... it'd take a lot of work. Not that he doesn't want to... He's just not sure if he has the time.

He'll think about it later. Right now, he fumbles with the key to the apartment with groceries in both arms, and he ends up having to lean over slightly forward and to the side to reach the lock. After some work, he finally makes it inside, and he's greeted by:

1. Tsuae looking up at him a few feet away from the door. This is not unusual, he's done that for a while now. Luke kind of likes it, too.

2. Mewtwo, still in human form, on the couch with just about every single pillow in the house. This is unusual.

He stands there for a second, his eyes slightly wide with confusion, and then he tilts his head slightly to the side.]

Mewtwo?

[It took some figuring - humans aren't so flexible in the spine area, and lying on a pile isn't entirely comfortable without the ability to curl up nose-to-toes - but he's finally got an arrangement that suits him, a nice little nest of pillows mashed into a bowl shape and set on one side of the couch. As exposed as this body made him feel, the nest seemed like a very secure place, and he had begun to doze off while half-buried in it.

At the opening of the door, he opens his eyes and stares at it, tense for a moment. But it's Luke - good - and he yawns, coming fully awake.]

Hm?

What's with all the pillows?

[He lowers one of the bags he's carrying to look above it and fully at the pillow nest. ... Were those the pillows off his bed, too? Man, he'll need those back later... at least one, anyway.

... Maybe he can trade. First, though, he'd like to know just what's going on here.]

A bed.

[Mewtwo sticks to short phrases - the sensation of producing sounds in your throat is a little too unsettling to be wordy on a regular basis.

He sits up and stretches. For a brief moment, he looks baffled when he reaches for psychic powers that aren't there, but then he consciously remembers and sighs and stands up. He walks towards Luke with his odd, twisting gait, wobbling only once when a foot lands oddly, and moves to take one of the bags.]
