I Voted

Alright, I voted this morning before work, it took about 5 minutes. This has been the second election that I have been eligible for, but the first one that I was really proud to take part in. Voting today made me feel like a little kid again, when you’re required to do the pledge of allegiance everyday and sing the national anthem in school. I ( Read more... )

That was very well said. A President should look and act "Presidential". It's not ONLY about policies, in my opinion. It's also about confidence, articulateness, poise. Someone that won't make us foolish in front of other world leaders like we have for the last 8 years. Someone that looks good in a tux. :-D

i have no illusions of a win here, but would that not be funny/stunning if our traditinally red(necked) state takes on a blue tinge? if nothing more, it will certainly make those currently seated sit up and perhaps pay attention to the tide. fingers crossed for us all.
