A Menu Plan is Better Than ... No Menu Plan

Wow, I haven't blogged in ages. Which is sad because I've actually had a lot of thoughts that could have turned into blog entries. Oh well. Onward and upward.

Unk and I have just returned from an epic road trip that started on August 4 and ended 2 minutes before August 13. We:

LOL! It's not you! We were on a mission of single-minded purpose, visiting only family and one close friend. There was no time for dilly-dallying!

Plus, you've been in my state multiple times that I haven't seen you!

I think the thing we have learned here is that it's hard to visit random internet friends if they aren't the point of your trip :)

I love this idea of planning your week's menu. Do you do it every week? I know you posted one ages ago too. I keep meaning to try it, but haven't been organised enough yet!

I haven't done it every week, but I'm really trying to. The weeks I do I spend less on groceries, we eat better, and I'm stressed less because I know what's for dinner and have everything on hand for it. This week I also have two things on the menu that require something a day before. Neither of the things is difficult, but without planning, they'll never get done, and they're both things I want to have :)

Aw, shucks :) I also added a link to the entry -- my brother mapped out where we went on Google maps -- you're just the type of guy to find that interesting :)

Yes! We entered from the rear right and that too was ... gosh, "moving" is the best word I can think of. We walked up and around, looked at their faces, etc. My brother told us which guy was doing the job an old friend of our family did ....

When we got around to that rear left guy, it took my breath away. I thought the exact same thing.

Thanks for your note on the menu :)
