As many of you know, I decided I wasn't going to watch American Idol this year. I had decided enough was enough, and that between the shark-jumping and the time wastiness, I should stop blogging the show. And I've successfully avoided the current season! I mean, I really have! Predictie may have figured out why the American Idol producers show SO much footage before the actual competition starts. To draw you in. Because if in fact, you only turn in once the last 20 or 10 or whatever are left, you have no emotional attachment to them ... and can actually hear how bad they are :)

I've never watched AI, but I have quite a bit of music from some of the past contestants. People do seem to get quite involved. So, are you sucked back in and really not happy about it?

I'm quasi sucked in :) That is, I'm free on a Wednesday night, and guess what? I'm watching it again :)
