Despite persecution, most American gays are Christians

A new study by the Barna Group of 9000 gay, lesbian, and bisexual adults showed that 70% identified themselves as Christian, and 60% said their faith is very important in their lives ( Read more... )

Excellent post. I'm very familiar with Barna. Perhaps the best answer to why we gay Christians don't abandon our faith is just that. It's our faith. Faith isn't who is persecuting us. It's the faithless ones in the church who are.
