They dance the night away, moving deftly from one performance to the next, spirits high and smiles wide as they move with the revelers, the dancers, the drunkards. They stay away from drink, because they haven't the money, but also because Ibelin wants to remember this night as it happened, not through the haze of a mind poisoned with too much

The hour grows late, and eventually the music begins to quiet down and the monsters trek home, and Mathieu's hand is still clasped in Ibelin's as they make their way back to the inn. They fall into bed laughing, drunk on the atmosphere, the touch of one hand in another, the smile on the other's face, and Mathieu wraps himself around Ibelin with a kiss to his cheek, because it's alright now.

They are sound asleep before either of them have the chance to become embarrassed.

Ibelin wakes in the morning warm and comfortable, and sighs as he snuggles closer to the source of heat. He becomes aware after a moment that it's a body, and for a moment he panics, thinking that he's somehow entwined himself around Mathieu in his sleep again, but then he remembers the night before, and relaxes.

He curls an arm around the other boy's waist and sighs in content, perfectly happy to doze.

{Excuse me, I need to go find some replacement teeth since mine have been overtaken by cavities.}

They slip in and out of sleep for what might be hours, might be less, and when Mathieu no longer can close his eyes, he spends the minutes rubbing his nose over Ibelin's cheek and basking in the warmth and smell of him.

"Ibelin...work. We need to get up," he sighs.

(You've gotten cavities? But how? :/ Ugh, dizzy again today.)

"Don't wanna," Ibelin mumbles, snuggling closer.

{My dentists says it's from too much exposure to cute. Boo, dizzy. :/}
