I'm writing part of this waiting for a movie to start on my new little toy, the rest is written on the train home. The theme of the week certainly seems to be communication...

I must admit I was sorta reluctant to get an Eee PC (the new toy) due to the size of the keyboard. once you get use to it though, it's quite neat. So fast to load as well

AIE sounds perfect for you, give yourself a kick start into something useful. UCMS is just going to dick you around, not 'officially' being IT sounds like that to me.

Geoff did a one year AIE course, and O knows a fair bit about it too, so definitely have a chat with them about it if you can.

I know, and I stand by what I said, by the same token though I did agree that people shouldn't suffer either. To be honest, Daniel has run straight into the hole Sian found herself in DISPITE me warning him privately that he was doing what burnt out Sian anyway.

The thing that kills me is that if I had the same support in principle in 2006, I would have enjoyed the role more. I just don't think I have it in me to actually do a decent job of sponsorship this year, not with how things currently are, and the lack of prep time (both due to being elected in march and PB/Publicity getting elected MILES after they were needed to). I've pretty much decided that I'm gonna clean up what I've got already, and retire to the shadows. Thinking about Manifest and work is essentially killing my ability to sleep atm. In this state I'm essentially lost to the committee anyway.
