Generaly all is going well. The new pain killers our doctor prescribed are doing what hey are supposed to do. This has solved my drug+drinking habit quite drasticaly. *relieved sigh

Oh, I would have thought it might bring back memories. It did for me anyway and I haven't lived there, only went on family visits. It sure reminded me vividly of situations I lived through, which gave it an extra to me. As it is about a child's view on a way of life, I'm sold anyhow.
In Belgium it's commmercialised as exotic, because standing in line for food and other necessary things is inexistent. It is the story of the 80ies of course.
