Paris CDG is the worst airport ever. I'm so looking into going by train(TGV) for future.

I'm back in switzerland for the weekend, have some old online friends meeting up for drinks and catching up over the weekend so promises to be interesting i'll let you know

CDG1 is indeed horrid and made worse by the fact that at any given time two-thirds of it is closed off for (badly needed) refurbishment.
CDG2 however is luvverly.

and I'm adding my 2p CDG aint got nothin on Dublin... it's a complete referb mess and a nightmare...

we were at term 2b and it suxored

the only airport that you got through passport control before collecting your boarding card. This setup so doesn't work with e-tickets.

security was laughable i got asked to empty my pockets and put my biometric passport and wallet through xray because it might set off the sensor. i got told to take my belt off despite knowing it doesn't trip sensors. they refused to let anyone through into the empty departure lounge instead they had a stationary queue of 500 people and a plane that was making its final call for boarding, with people not being allowed into the departure lounge.

i could go on but really iäd rather just forget it.
