Just seeing all the machines go from TGA depresses me greatly... Wish I had a job so I could have actually bid on some of the games that I would love to have...

IIDX Distorted went for $7500
SuperNova 2 went for $4500
The other games I wanted went for around $1500

Why would you pay so much for games?

These are the actual arcade games, ya know.. like The whole cabinet, hardware, software, the whole shebang...

Yeah, my priorities are fine. Its called being a collector and interested in these types of things. It's like some people and manga or comic books or just buying new counsel games.

I would have totally gone up to like 12k for Distorted purely for the fact that I could then set it up somewhere and make money off it by letting people play it... or keep it for myself... I dono... lol

But I did buy a poster... but didn't get the noren I really wanted... and I regret not bidding higher on that x.x I should have gone 475 x.x

I know that they are actual arcade games. John Reich had an original Space Invaders machine that he got cheap.

I'm just saying that it seems like that's a bit too much money to spend on something like that. For God's sake, you probably have the technical know-how to build your own machine.

Maybe I'm just losing my connection with my inner-gamer. I don't know.
