its not that point that I thought it was rude I was just like i know so many ppl who r going to college wanting good forthemselves who dont do drugs or drink. And even if I do do em I wouldnt be burn out. Most burn outs wouldnt even go to collge. Just reiterating the fact

well 1st of all.... us kids who are going to college next year may actually be very smart- good luck motivating yourself to go BACK to school after taking a year off and getting used to working everyday! :-P I would have been there if i hadn't worked in the morning.

well, actually, i will still be motivated to go back to school after taking time off, unlike yourself. im going to night school to get my required classes out of the way and then im tranfering my credits. besides, im majoring and minoring in what i like. plus *she* goes there and me and her will be closer than ever. so, there. answer that and stay fashionable.....

you think that you will be motivated to go back to school... but we'll see in a year. and i'm not saying you wont, i'm just saying that the majority of people who take time off don't end up going back. And what does unlike me mean?? I am motivated enough to go now and get out into a steady career sooner, that's all. People who go this year are majoring and minoring in what they like too... or else it would be a waste of time and money. I don't see the difference in going to school straight off (when you are still used to the school routine, and already know what you want to do with life) or taking a year off to decide WHAT you want to do. If you already know... why waste time when you can go to school, get it done, and start working???

i have several motivations for going to college.
1. being closer to you <3
2. the experience
3. making new friends
4. greater chance of forming a band
5. did i say being near you? lol ;-)

plus most of the people that dont go back, dont know what they want in life. i happen to. when i pick something to do, i usually stick with it. <3
