I was going to write a drabble with Bella and Jacob being all angusty, but then I go and read that my idea was completely poo-poo-ed by Meyer.

I could see this as a real scene (if it were for Meyer's challange against it). I always had this slight belief that Jacob could've been hiding the fact that he imprinted on Bella. Good story.

I don't like seeing Jake hurt either, but with Jake I seriously have a love/hate relationship. He's the best friend anyone would want to have, but he throughout New Moon puts Bella in awkward situations and just will not give up. I find it annoying.
