Does she even know what Chichi means in Japanese? It cam either be an informal word for father (like calling your kid sister Papa,) or a popular slang term for breasts (which is the joke behind Chichi in Dragonball.)

Not saying you have to be fluent in Japanese to write Anime-based fanfiction, but at least do enough research that you don't make it more confusing.
