The tax gods deemed me fit to receive my return a week after I filed; and, boy, was it right on time. This whole being poor thing has definitely inspired me to pursue both my MFA in Creative Writing so I can teach at the collegiate level, but to also to, well, just write. I don't know why I always get in my own way when it comes to my writing,

I never thought about starting a Patreon account in regards to my writing; hmm, I'll have to investigate this. Thanks so much for the suggestion! How are things in CaitLand?

:D Nutty as always!! I'm like this close to rethinking my diss totally--which will be a lot of work in the short run but maybe make more sense in the long run--and making it more about the ideology of recovering women in the history of the book trade rather than just, you know, finding people. (Mostly because I found an unpublished thesis from the 1970s that's a huge biographical dictionary of women, so the actual finding has been done. And I have a sad this is not a book because I'd buy it!! Instead, I have a pdf of a photocopy. >_<) And I've had a cold, which hasn't helped!

Oh, that sounds fascinating! And, yes, it sounds like a lot of work. Have you run the idea by the professor that will be reading your dissertation?
