"And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." (Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Le Petit Prince)
I was extremely surprised today after trying to check on Garden Of Shadows. I got a notice that I was banned from there for 2 weeks.
I have received my first warning sometime last year after asking in WCIF section where I could find a certain hair. Reason to get warned was that the hair was located in GOS. I hadn't found it because I had searched for it in the binned section, not from the unnatural section where it was. Yes, my mistake to look for binned hair only from the binned hair section.
The second warning I got just recently after sending a pm to one of the moderators and asking that she would be kind enough to not twist my words. I got an answer where I was insulted and called a useless and boring troll (amongst other things about my way of expressing myself all in all). My answer to that was that I told her I had thought her to be arrogant but that I had no idea she was that arrogant and smug. After that she sent me a message in which she happily told me to enjoy the warning I had just earned by sending a personal message intended to insult a member of GOS. Right.
So, today I had this waiting for me:
"Sorry anuvi, you are banned from using this forum!
Please choose your signature images wisely, anything with excessive blinking or animation may be removed without notice. Third warning = 2 weeks ban. "
My signature image (which I had had several days already) wasn't that excessively blinking or animated but I guess it was enough of those things to give the moderators in GOS an excuse to give me the third warning so they could give me the 2 weeks ban. I have to wonder how a bunch of adult people can get that worked up because of a one tiny person they happen not to like and find her annoying. I have never understood cliques where people gang up against certain persons. I find it to be something that preteen girls have a habit of doing.
I have never been afraid to say what I think and I have never been afraid to think differently than others. I do not need anyone to tell me what I should or shouldn't think. I was raised to be independent and to think all by myself. I also have never judged anyone because he/she thinks differently than me. Matters argue, not people!
"One must command from each what each can perform, the king went on. "Authority is based first of all upon reason. If you command your subjects to jump into the ocean, there will be a revolution. I am entitled to command obedience because my orders are reasonable."
" Then my sunset?" insisted the little prince, who never let go of a question once he had asked it.
"You shall have your sunset. I shall command it. But I shall wait, according to my science of government, until conditions are favorable."
