About power and a sim

Hi sweeties!

I was just thinking about how sad it is what power can do to a person. How it can so easily turn you into an arrogant and smug person who has despotic tendencies and acts only based on her/his personal feelings. It's actually very pathetic. oh she's a cutie! and just in time. I just made my first clean neighborhood with custom townies. I've been wanting to add more townies, but I made a rule for myself that I couldn't add any unless an awesome one was up for download.
Sorry about silly sim secrets (i'm guessing that's what your words about power are referring to). When I first started sims 2 stuff, I loved sim secret. I didn't know who anyone was, so the drama was just comical. Now it's silly and pathetic.
What's your native language-I'm really curious about that saying!

Well yeah, not exactly to that secret thing but it is related to that. I'm not saying that I've handled everything angelically but I do feel bad when people twist my sayings and make them something they aren't. I find it a bit sickening when power is used unjustly.

I'm from Finland so my native language is Finnish. We have this saying about piss rising to your head when meaning that a person gets too smug/proud/etc. after getting some power/fame etc.

But thank you for commenting, it is always nice to hear what people think about the sims I've made! And it feels so good to know that they bring joy to others too, not just to me!

Thank you for liking her! And yeah, I hope that too, I have e-mailed to the store where I bought that graphics card from and asked is there some sort of deal we can make because it isn't working properly. And it seems that it isn't broken, there just isn't working drivers for it. 8-| They promised to get back to me on Monday. I really hope I will get a new card and if not I just have to buy a new one. Which would piss me off immensely because I payed 139€ for that piece of crap that isn't working so it would've been the same as if bying a card that cost over 250€ in the first place. But, I have my hopes high! :-)

I don't read the secrets myself so i have no idea of the situation. I find the secrets very annoying and not fun at all. For the same reason i don't visit forums that are (in my opinion) full of bashing and fighting, it just seems so very childish to me.
I have learnt my lesson to mind my own business and not to take personally anything i read, and the most important, do not defent anyone..

Yeah, I second that, one should always just mind ones own business and definitely not disagree with or question anything because it only leads you to be wrong... I find those secrets more or less sick business and I have also said it out loud, which only lead me being a target of a hate secrets. And it looks like I'm there again because I dared to question things. I couldn't care less but the thing that angers me is that my sayings are twisted and taken out of context and made something else than what they were really about. Well, I know what I'm talking about so I guess it's not my loss. ;-D
