I wouldn't have them normally, but its a sort of a favour to a friend.

Well I think it's a good idea! I love the sounds they make and they're useful in the garden and we'd save loads on cooked breakfasts.

And I know you miss them. If you didn't, you wouldn't send half as many owls to Marcus Featherstonehaugh.

Ooh, and Master Wington says he'd love to come to the barbicule thingy, once he'd worked out I'd said "bring burgers", not burglars!

Brilliant! I'll bring them home tonight.

I suppose I do owl Marcus a lot. But he's so silly with them, always getting into some scrape or other, so I feel I need to show him how I used to do it. Sensibly.

I have quite a few from the office coming too, so maybe we should get more of the coal stuff. Someone recommended paraffin to help it light. I think we should stick to the matches however, knowing my luck

Oh goodness, I think we can manage to get it going without putting parraffin on, you sure they weren't having you on? I've never done a barbicle before, mind, so we should maybe practice this evening? We were going to have chops anyway.
