A laptop, brand-spanking new with 4-year warrenty papers attached, shows up on Anya's doorstep with a card with a sad face scrawled on.

'Miss you. Things are completely upside-down. Another two weeks should straighten things out. If not, we'll shoot everyone in town and declare ourselves rulers of an empty kingdom. Everyone's getting tired of being away all the time.

Anya smiles when she gets the note and the laptop, and hopes they do show back up soon.

An IBB briefcase designed by Philippe Starck arrives in the mail with a note:

May Fortuna smile on your academic endeavors.

Anya opens the package with a smile and a bounce.

Had she realized school came with presents, she would have gone ages ago.

She eventually gets around to mailing back a thank you note.

I certainly hope it does or this will all be fairly worthless.

Thank you!
Anya

There's no "sort of" about it. You were a
"Scooby."
And I'll be glad to help with the math or your other
classes, if you want.

*relieved smile* Thank you, Willow. Sometimes it just seems...

I could use the help with the math. And my sciences over the summer, probably.
