Summary: Renji receives a lot of Valentine's gifts, but only one of them has any meaning.

"Ah, Renji-san?"
Renji Abarai let out a sigh, turning to face the female shinigami. "Yes?"
The girl's face turned red and she began to tremor as she fought to hold something out to him. "U-um, I got you, um, H-happy Valentine's day..."
The red-haired vice-captain reached out to take the offered parcel with what he hoped was a calming smile. "Thank-you, Tojo-san," he replied, praying that this was her name. When her eyes lit up, he breathed an inward sigh of relief.
"Y-you are welcome, Renji-san," Tojo exclaimed, face flushing at her own tone. She began to stammer an apology, before quickly running away. Renji watched her go, before turning his apathetic stare back to the gift in hand. More chocolate. How many girls was that now? He fervently hoped that they weren't expecting return gifts, because he honestly couldn't remember who all he had received them from.
He made his way towards his office in order to store the package with it's fellow companions, idly wondering how many more would be joining it by the days end.
"Uwah! Momo-chan! Wait up!"
Renji froze as his friend, Momo Hinamori barreled past him giggling about something or other and clutching something to her chest tightly.
"No, Kadiri-chan! I'm not telling you!" Momo yelled back at her pursuer. Renji turned to see Kadiri Takenouchi almost fall over as she ran around the corner and into sight.
"That isn't fair, Momo-chan!" Kadiri yelled. "I told you!"
The brown-haired girl slid to a stop in front of Renji. "Speaking of which," she muttered, digging into the front of her uniform, "here you go!" She produced a small parcel wrapped in sparkly-pink paper and flipped it at him, before continuing her chase.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Abarai-baka!" She shouted over her shoulder.
Renji stared down at the pink parcel, his face breaking into a slow grin, before he ripped off the paper and bit into a taiyaki.
