Watching the news for 3 minutes nearly resulted in me having a breakdown. They were talking about how the U.S. went into a town and shot innocent iraqi families for no real reason, they were mad about a convoy being hit and wanted to kill someone

i read the book battle royal recently

in it, 40 students are brutally murdered by each other

it was one of the most desterbing things ive read

and half of that died in one day, and its like poof theyre gone from the planet....and no one cares.

i dont know, it just seems strange how fucked up, heartless, plastic, robotic even this country is

Yeah I know of battle royal and I think I've read some of it. It is pretty disturbing, and I was trying to figure out whether there is an important underlying message in it, or if it's just like that. I probbably should read the whole thing.

None the less, from what I read it's a pretty good gn.
