My vote:
Boxing is a brutal and primitive sport and our society would do well to stop pretending there's some kind of art or poetry in two people beating the hell out of each other

( I don't think I've ever seen any of the movies listed. )

The trivia night/cheap movie night dilemma is a hard one. If you're pinching your pennies, do the movie. If not, be social and go to trivia night. <- My two cents' worth.

the thing is, the winning team gets $60 in gift certificates to the bar that hosts trivia night. Of course, that doesn't quite cover the cost of the two-drink minimum when you've got a team of 6 (drinks are expensive at this bar), but it's a good incentive, nonetheless.

My main concern is that I haven't seen HP5 yet, and I worry it won't be around for next week's $4 movie night, then I'd have to wait to see it on DVD, and who wants that?

i vote for harry potter. it was pretty awesome. definitely worth catching on the big screen.

out of the movies i've seen, girlfight. but i haven't seen it in a long time. i just know i hated million dollar baby and rocky.

I've decided- I'm going to the 10:10 showing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. If you're not doing anything, and wouldn't mind seeing it again, you should come! It's only $4!

not saying that the sport is not brutal and primitive...you could say the same about football.
