Friday we went to IKEA and bought a sofabed (really a futon with a nice cover) and some bookshelves. The sofabed is red and comfy and I like it! Our living room looks like a living room now. I also bought a plastic wall clock for $2, which was pretty exciting, 'til I got it home, put a battery in it, and found it doesn't keep time at all. Boo ( Read more... )

Oh, I plan on making a special trip to Oakland to hang out with you before too long. I'm long overdue to see something at the Parkway.

Or, alternately, Greg and I can (and probably should) throw a wine tasting party like the one you and Chris had, what, 2 years ago? Yeah. I still think of what a great party that was every time I use my set of wine charms. Anyway, when we do, you're totally welcome to crash in our livingroom. I'm thinking sometime in October.
