4. What did James mean when he wrote "faith without works is dead" (Jas. 2:17)? It's kind of like the bearing fruit that Jesus talks about it John 15:1-8. If you have a true saving faith then there will be evidences of that faith. One of the evidences is that you strive to live your life like Jesus, for Jesus. If you have a true faith in Jesus and love him then that love will show and . . . it's kind of like one of those things that you can't help but want to share. It's not something that you keep locked away in a safe for no one to see. True faith and love for Jesus encourages and comforts and rejuvenates . . . it shows in your face and is heard in your tone and demonstrated through your actions, it's not something that you can lock away and keep a secret even if you tried. I just don't see how anyone could truly believe in Jesus and at the same time not want to share that faith or show Jesus' love. It doesn't seem logical. And in Matthew 20: 27-28 (i really hope i am referencing this correctly) it talks about how jesus came not
