thoughts on the new job

after two days i would equate my new job to forgetting how to tie my own shoes. i spend most of my time feeling lost & helpless. i know most of that will pass after a week when i say, learn how to use inter-departmental snail-mail, meet more than 6 people in my group, etc. but i suspect with this job that a portion of that lost feeling is going ( Read more... )

Sadly, this makes me want to pick up a copy of The Elegant Universe and try reading it again. The cube farm would get to me though. Send me your address, for I have amassed more stamps for you. The good thing about stamps is that they do not require complex software or a knowledge of particle physics. *hugs*

i hope it gets better for you!
maybe you could revolutionize the cubicle system from the inside. you could pass secret notes, gather forces and eventually have a huge office party everyday.

alternately, you could institute a disco ball policy.

You have entered the world of Dilbert. And again, landed yourself in a job that (at least the structure if not the work type) is what I'm dreaming of doing.
