i'se the proud new owner of a bike! a folding bike!

work moved me back to "main campus" last week. the new location is just over 2mi from home so i figured it was time. & i can cram a wee folding bike into this tiny condo. can't wait for the 1st ride in (sadly, it won't be tomorrow 'cause it's due to rain)!

also, i'm not dead.

YAY :D I'm excited for you! I want a bike so bad. That's part of my big plan if I go to UF, get a house within biking distance and bike instead of drive.

it was worth the extra cost to me since there was no way i could fit an actual bike in my condo & anything on the front stoop would immediately get stolen. they do have cheaper models, but i really wanted the hub shifter (no gears clicking!).

now i just have to work on getting bad-assed enough to commute in the rain & eventual cold!
