→ Rutee Katrea is a very headstrong young woman, and she doesn't care what you think of her. Whenever there's a good chance to make money, Rutee will be there - she's shrewd, she's penny-pinching, and she's more than willing to bend the rules for profit. That isn't to say she's strictly speaking a thief... just that sometimes opportunities are too good to miss! It's certainly true to say that Rutee's gained herself a reputation with her obsession with making money. In truth, the negative opinions do bother her (at least a little!), but her reasons are too important for her to change her ways any time soon.
Rutee is the kind of person who has a difficult time expressing herself, especially when it comes to softer emotions like gratitude or appreciation. She's much more likely to tease the people around her, especially those she really likes - it's both her sense of humor and her way of dealing with things. She is a very kind and dependable friend, once you become accustomed to her way of showing it. She'll do anything she can to protect those she holds dear, and although she has a sort of 'tough love' approach and can become easily frustrated at times, she always tries to help her friends through difficult situations.
She is quite a cynical person in some respects, and can occasionally underestimate the people around her. She also has a tendency to assume the worst about people or sometimes jump to negative conclusions. This behaviour comes from the hard life she has led, giving her a streetwise survival instinct. There are certain things that can instantly break through this hardened exterior, however. Rutee doesn't like to see anyone accused without what she considers to be fair reason, and she's very sympathetic to anyone from a poor background. She also rescued the amnesiac Mary Argent without hesitation, and formed a life-long bond with the other woman - Rutee is definitely a caring and compassionate person, even if it isn't obvious to many people.
Finally, even with that jumble of traits outlined up there, Rutee is ultimately a very likeable person and a valuable ally to have around. She's quick-witted and determined, she doesn't take crap from anyone, she knows how to enjoy herself and have fun, and most importantly, she always gets the job done.

Stahn Aileron: Rutee places a lot of trust in Stahn, and thinks of him often. Although she teases him mercilessly, he's someone very dear to her.
Leon Magnus: spoilers: Rutee learned the truth of her connection to Leon only moments before his death. Although she was effectively able to avenge him (though not before losing her father as well), her feelings toward her younger brother remain complicated and unresolved.
Mary Argent: Mary remains one of the most important people in Rutee's life. Although they no longer travel together, the strong bond between them remains.
Philia Philis: Although they seem like very different people, Rutee and Philia have become close friends. Rutee feels protective of Philia in some ways.
Others: Rutee's other canonmates are all cherished friends and people she'd be delighted to see again.
