I actually loved Irreversible.... But I thank the stars above that I got to see a "Making Of" documentary. Finding out how they did that infamous sauna fire extinguisher scene was fascinating... And made it a little more bearable to watch...!!!
Enter The Void was a bit too wanky... like he was trying a bit too hard with that one...
And as for Love? Well... probably too much unnecessarily explicit sex scenes, to be honest. I can handle graphic portrayals of actual sex, such as in Shortbus, but the ones in this movie were a bit boring and long...
I didn't see "Love." Maybe someday, but it's not high on my list. I saw his first feature, "I Stand Alone," and it was great but really bleak. "Enter the Void" didn't quite live up to its promise. I think "Climax" could be his best film since "Irreversible."
