Summary : Ryosuke’s love life is getting hindered by a certain transfer student and it becomes worse when that transfer student falls in love with his crush.
Ryosuke was walking around the kitchen, trying to gather all the ingredients needed for the soup but somehow or rather, Kento had to be in his way. It was already bad enough that the younger boy wasn’t helping and he just had to stand in the middle of the room, making the already small kitchen feel even smaller.
“Can you find something else to do then just stand there?” Ryosuke huffed as he slammed the door of the cupboard, momentarily forgetting that this wasn’t his house.
“Then I’m going back up-”
“No you are not. Stay somewhere where I can see you.” Ryosuke interrupted the younger boy and eyed him with much dislike.
“What’s with you?” Kento clicked his tongue as he folds his arms and leaned against the refrigerator. As much as Kento thinks that Yuto is an airhead, he would rather spend time with Yuto than Ryosuke who just pisses him off.
“That’s my line.” Ryosuke shot Kento a glare before going back to preparing the ingredients, “Why are you so harped up on Yuto anyway?”
Kento heaved a sigh, “I told you before, I’m gonna take everything away from you, including Yuto.”
“You’re welcome to take everything away except for Yuto. Just give up on him and leave us alone.” Ryosuke said without glancing at Kento as he was focusing on chopping the vegetables.
“No can do. Besides, I’m getting interested in him.” Kento smirked as he saw Ryosuke freeze.
Ryosuke turned around, the knife still on his hand as he stared at Kento. “C-care to repeat that again?”
“I said, I’m getting-”
“Shut up!” Ryosuke once again, interrupted Kento.
“I’m hearing things. Oh no, no, no, I’m hearing things already.” Ryosuke shook his head as he turned back to the chopping board and started cutting the vegetables randomly.
“You’re the one that asked me to repeat it.” Kento grumbled under his breath as he rolled his eyes.
“Why…why are you interested in him? There is nothing interesting about Yuto you know. He’s just an idiot that has brother complex and is always smiling like nobody’s business.” Ryosuke gulped down a handful of saliva as he heard Kento hummed.
“Maybe because he is an idiot that’s why?” Kento chuckled.
‘Oh no. This is not going well at all. Wait, he hasn’t fall for Yuto right? So I still have chance to get him away from Yuto! Yeah, that will do.’ Ryosuke thought, a silly smile forming on his lips.
“W-well, do whatever you want then. I’ll make Yuto stay away from you.” Ryosuke stuttered as he poured the ingredients into the pot clumsily.

“Yuto, I brought-” Ryosuke called out as he opened the door to Yuto’s room with his elbow as both his hands were holding onto the tray of soup. He quietens down though, when he saw Yuto soundly asleep in his bed with a horse plushie in his left hand.
Ryosuke walked over to Yuto and put the tray on his bedside cupboard before sitting on the floor. Kento went to sit next to Ryosuke as the both of them stared at Yuto’s sleeping face.
“Why did you fell for him?” Kento suddenly asked as he rested his chin on Yuto’s bed.
“I wonder why…” Ryosuke follow suit, his eyes never leaving Yuto’s face. “Maybe because he is adorable even though he is an idiot? And despite smiling all day, he gets depressed really easily and always needs someone to rely on. He’s cute like that.” Ryosuke smiled as he poked Yuto’s cheeks softly with his index finger.
“Ah, I shouldn’t have told you that. You’ll end up falling for him for the same reasons too.” Ryosuke whined as he slapped his forehead.
“I hope I do.” Kento snorted, finding it impossible to like someone because of those reasons.
They didn’t know how long they stayed in that position but it was only when Raiya came into the room that the two of them snapped off from the daze. Raiya walked in and saw that the soup was left untouched, leaving him confused.
“Ryo-nii, nii-chan didn’t drink the soup?” Raiya frowned. His voice stirred Yuto up from his sleep as the lanky boy yawned widely, the horse still in his hand.
“He was asleep and we didn’t want to wake him up.” Ryosuke explained.
“You should have just woke me up Yama-chan. You and Kento wasted your time here doing nothing.” Yuto sat up, feeling bad as he just wasted their time.
“It’s fine, you were cute in your sleep anyway.” Kento smiled, making Yuto slightly flustered.
“Shut up flirt.” Ryosuke rolled his eyes. “Do you want me to heat up the soup?”
Yuto shook his head, “I’ll just drink it.”
Ryosuke measured Yuto’s temperature after he had finished drinking the soup and fortunately, it had gone down. Yuto just has to rest for a while more and he would be able to go to school the next day.
“It would be good if I can just remain sick and skip school. There’s only one more week left before holiday starts.” Yuto sighs but earned a smack on the head from Ryosuke.
“It isn’t good at all. Raiya would be so worried and being sick is not fun at all.” Ryosuke scolded Yuto.
Yuto gave a sheepish smile before apologizing to the three of them followed by a hug for Raiya.
“We’ll go home then, it’s already late.” Ryosuke stood up, pulling Kento up by force.
“Thank you for taking care of me Yama-chan, Kento!” Yuto smiled and waved at them while Raiya gave a polite bow.
After they left, Raiya still remained in Yuto’s room. “Nii-chan, is Ryo-nii your boyfriend?”
“Huh?! Of course not!” Yuto widen his eyes as he shook his head.
“That means Kento-nii is your boyfriend?” Raiya tilted his head.
“He isn’t! I mean, why would any of them be my boyfriend?” Yuto flicked Raiya’s forehead.
“My…six sense?” Raiya grinned as he quickly walked away before Yuto could give him another flick.
“I prefer Ryo-nii though!” Raiya exclaimed before he disappeared behind the door, leaving Yuto with a frown plastered on his face.
