So, despite having to play in 15-minute long segments because of regular crashes with the most stable combination of fglrx and wine versions (which I'm blaming mostly on ATI's fglrx drivers, since nVidia owners seem to be able to play Source games stably, for the most part), I've completed Portal.

You actually can get the turrets shot, if you're using them as a shield. It makes them unhappy, though, and ANAICT doesn't actually take them out.
Well. You can also drop them from enormous heights into toxic sludge.
I rather liked, in the endgame, GLaDOS's attempts to bribe/cajole you with cake, and her utter rage when it fails. "The cake is gone, and you don't even care."
