Has it really been four years?

Wow. Time sure flies when you try and forget trajedy. It's rather scary how quickly many people have forgotten what occurred on that monring four years ago. I nearly forgot myself, and I was rather intimately linked to it ( Read more... )

I still remember when 9-11 happened. Our teachers were on strike so we weren't in school, and I was playing Mad Libs with our family friend, who was watching me. She was flipping through the channels while naming words and then she just stopped as the the live footage of the second plane hitting the towers happened. We just sat and stared and I closed the Mad Libs. And all she said was "terrorists", which I had never heard of before. So I asked her what terrorists were, and she explained, and all I could ask was "why would anyone want to do that?" She didn't really answer me ( ... )

Aye. I remember when I went up on the towers a year or two before. I'm glad I got to get to the top of them.

I just walked past them. I remember how shiny the windows were and how small I felt. We ate at a pizza place just near them for lunch.

There are so many horror stories of almosts and what-ifs, and sadly, just as many tradgedies of if-only's. I'm very glad your dad was outside the building..

I don't think I'll ever forget it.. it just.. I could almost feel one part of my consciousness close, forever, and sense my thoughts being forced into a new way of thinking.. It really did change me, in more ways than I understand.

I was at the beach, because of the teacher strike.. my parents got in an argument over grapes and the cooler, if I remember correctly. Odd, how some things stick with you. That's why green grapes give me issues sometimes.. Later, christie came over, just to hang out, really to play. Her dad walked over a half hour later, and his face.. oh ... because we don't have a tv with channels, we had had no way of knowing. christie went home. we hooked up wires to the back of the tv to get rid of the static, and it -the fire, the burning, the crash, the death- was still being replayed, over and over.. I didn't sleep at all.

It was, and still is simply

Ascoli is thinking about that play. he wants to see how many sign people for auditions. THat way he can tell if he'll have enough people or not.

Alrighty. I would have to play some itty bitty role, probably, as much as I would like to be a lead. That is, if I were good enough, of course XD
