What do I want to be when I grow up?

You know, my whole life I've kind of automatically assumed that I was going to be a pastor of some sort. I really had tried to think of other areas that interest me, but I couldn't find any ( Read more... )

military doctor though, right? physcology is a really interesting field of study, I've always been fascinated with it (hence why my english assignment was like 20 pages long.) It seems like it would be a really interesting field to work in. Of course, religious work is also very satisfactory. I think you've got enough time to decide your life path, but you have narrowed it down to 2 very good choices

Do they have separate catagories for the doctors for psychiatric and physical, or are you expected to know both?

I believe all doctors are supposed to have a basic medical training for stopping blood, etc, but they do have separate categories.

I always thought it would be nice to help people, and that's why psychiatry looks interesting. I have narrowed my choices down to psychiatry or pharmacy. Both help people in different ways.

I also considered joining the military. I think it would be an interesting way to spend my life. Not many people would willingly join the military, mostly cuz they are afraid of going to war (or, more precisely, afraid of dying). I say it's horrible that they want to enjoy freedom but not defend it.

Plus, there are a lot of benefits for veterans.

^.^

that's neat. If you want to know more about it, I can always ask my brother.

Doctor? XD I mean... *cough* Go for it!

"Dr. Thompson will see you now." Wow. o_o It sounds so doctor-y. Kind of like Old Man Leazer sounds Old-man-ish. XD

I could never be a psychiatrist w/ all of the brain stuff. Not after "Terminal Man" (book by Michael Crichton... I can just hear Johnny saying, "Dinosaurs! Ah!" -_-)
