Summary: Junsu was aware that the man was his brother-in-law. Yoochun wasn't his and he knew it. But Junsu's darkest side still wanted him, it desired him. It was a question of pride, wasn't it?
Wasn’t it?
Junsu woke up that day feeling just a little bit better. Well, at least he wasn’t feeling all depressed now and he actually felt like going to work. Plus he wanted, no, he needed to see Yoochun and his brother. There were so many things we wanted to talk with his brother, but the memory of Jaejoong’s painful pulls and pushes would always made him tremble. He couldn’t expect any less. If someone was to steal Yoochun from him, if Yoochun was his, he would totally kill that person.
Once he arrived to the company the taxi parked, he paid the man and walked to the entrance of the building. He pulled off his ID and passed it through the machine, he was expecting the doors to open but they didn’t. He tried a few more times while there were other workers already making a line waiting for him to pass.
“Hey!” he called one of the guards. But he didn’t have to, since the guard had the intention of going to him on the first place. “Something is wrong with this thing, is not working.”
He man looked at Junsu for a second. “I’m sorry Mr. Kim, but we have orders not to let you in,” said the man in a calm voice.
“Not to let me in? What the hell are you talking about?”
Junsu was about to tell the man of how many ways he was going to die, but he stopped after hearing the protests from all the other workers. He decided to move aside, but he was not going to leave.
And there he was, just about to start to argue with the guards again when he saw him.
Jaejoong was walking out of his car towards the main entrance. Junsu didn’t know what took over him, but he ran towards his brother. They needed to talk.
“Jaejoong!”
The latter stopped for a second, but after realizing who was talking to him he decided to keep on walking not even turning his head back to look at Junsu.
“You have to hear me out, plea…” before the boy could ever finish his words, Jaejoong had turned around and slapped him right across the face. The sudden act made many curious eyes looked their way.
Junsu placed his hand on the abused cheek. “You can hit me as much as you want, but please, let’s talk for a moment.”
“Talk? I can’t believe you are my brother you little bitch,” Jaejoong said recalling the word bitch to emphasize his feelings. “He is my husband and you… you are no more than a hypocrite whore.”
Junsu knew that all that was being said about him was truth, but that didn’t mean that it wasn’t hurting him. He decided not to talk at that moment because he didn’t want to lose his temper; he didn’t have a good one, but most important, he didn’t have the right to.
Many more people were now looking at them, it was hard to listen to their conversation since there was a strong sound coming from the moving cars on the street, but it looked like a really heated conversation.
At that moment Yoochun came running to find Junsu on the floor after being pushed by his brother. Jaejoong looked at the boy frowning because of the pain and for a moment, just for a brief moment, he felt bad about it.
“Was going on here?” asked Yoochun. He felt stupid asking that.
Both Jaejoong and Junsu looked at Yoochun. “Nothing,” said Jaejoong walking towards the man. “Let’s go.”
Yoochun nodded after a few seconds. He didn’t feel right leaving Junsu alone, but it didn’t feel right to stay either.
Junsu looked at the two men walking away. His tears were already falling down his cheeks; he didn’t even notice all the people looking at him. He stood up even though he was dying from the pain on his back; the hit had been quite strong.
He couldn’t believe the way Jaejoong was humiliating. He just wanted to have a decent conversation with his brother… and Yoochun. Moving slowly the boy finally reached the bus stop.
----------
Junsu walked inside his parent’s house. He looked around trying to hide from his mother, he couldn’t face her yet. Right now he was looking for his father, Junsu was sure that he wasn’t going to judge him so strongly or so he thought.
Making sure no one saw him, the boy entered his dad’s office.
“What are you doing here?” the man’s strong tone scared Junsu.
“Dad… you know?” he asked with fear coming out of his voice.
The man nodded his head and stood up from where he was sitting. “I’m so old already, Junsu, if I wasn’t this old, I would spank you so bad you wouldn’t even be able to stand for a week.” Junsu would have laugh at those words, but his father was not kidding when he said them.
“Dad, Jaejoong kicked me out the company,” he felt like a spoiled brat, but then he remembered that he was a spoiled brat.
“And I’m not going to stop him from doing so.”
“But…”
The older man sighed and once he was right in front of his son said. “I do not wish to talk to you right now, son. I almost killed Yoochun for your fault, for yours and his fault, I don’t think I will be able to control anymore, and I do not wish to hit you too.”
Junsu looked down ashamed of himself. “Maybe you should hit me, seems to be easier.”
Mr. Kim was really controlling himself, Junsu was his son and he loved him, but Jaejoong was also his son and for his sons he could do anything. He didn’t know for whom he should feel pity at the moment. Jaejoong had been cheated on, the worst part; the other man was his brother. Junsu was madly in love with a man that couldn’t correspond him, his brother’s husband. He was suppose to be on his son’s side, but which son?
“Just go home, Junsu,” he spoke after a few seconds. “I really don’t know what to do anymore.”
Junsu bit his lower lip but decided that going home was the best option at the moment. He felt bad for his dad, for putting him on such situation.
Walking out of the house the boy realized that his mom wasn’t home. He couldn’t face her yet. Before he walked out of the main entrance, his dad came with his car.
“Come on, I’ll take you home,” he said with a straight face.
Junsu simple nodded. His dad told him to go to the back seat and so he did.
------------
Yoochun sat on the couch inside his studio. There were so many things in his mind right now. He felt so strange. He should be happy; he didn’t have to worry about Junsu ruining his marriage anymore. There was no Junsu in his life anymore.
But he wasn’t happy at all. He didn’t want to admit it but there was no sense on continuing doing that, lying to himself. He missed Junsu. He couldn’t believe how hard it was to be away from the boy. He didn’t want to believe it but it was happening.
He couldn’t believe it. Jaejoong came to his life so easily, he loved the other man the moment they shared a few words. Junsu on the other hand, Junsu had been a pin in the ass, but there he was, stuck so deep inside his heart. Just too deep.
Jaejoong came into the room with a smile on his face. “Diner is ready,” he said happily.
Yoochun was really afraid. He couldn’t understand why his heart didn’t beat as fast as it used to every time he saw his husband. He couldn’t understand his feelings. Jaejoong was… he was his sunshine, Jaejoong was a really special person for him and thinking that just like that all those feelings that he used to have were now gone was terrifying.
Flash Back
Twenty years old Yoochun stretched his body on his chair. It was the end of the day after being in front of the teachers for the whole day. He was tired but finally he could go to his dorm and sleep a little bit. Standing up the boy intended to walk out of the class and go to his dorm but a sleeping body stopped him before he could do that.
The young adult looked around. It was already late and he didn’t think the other boy would like to stay there when he could go to sleep to his own dorm, so he decided to wake him up.
“Excuse me,” Yoochun shook the other’s shoulders.
After calling the boy several more times, he finally moved. “W-what?”
The boy looked at Yoochun with sleepy eyes. It was then that Yoochun felt for the beautiful man that was in front of him. Maybe it was his looks that cause Yoochun to be attracted to him. But it was without doubt the boy’s kindness that made his heart skipped a bit.
Every day, every week, Yoochun couldn’t have enough of the other’s presence. Jaejoong was like an addiction.
“Jaejoong,” he pronounced the boy’s name in a whisper.
The mentioned looked at him. Jaejoong was resting on Yoochun’s chest, both of them looking at the people walking by, sitting on a bench at the park.
“I love you.”
Jaejoong smiled warmly. “I thought you said you didn’t want to say those words because you didn’t want for us to make it a routine.”
Yoochun laughed remembering the time he said that. He shook his head. “It’s fine to say it once in a while. Come on, don’t pout.”
“Yoochun…”
“Mm?”
“I love you too.”
The tallest man did not say anything else, there was no need. He hugged Jaejoong tightly inhaling the sweet aroma that emanated from the beautiful boy’s body.
End Flash Back
With heavy steps the man walked out. He sat down on the chair at the dining table. Jaejoong was waiting for him with a banquette. It was weird, but the older man had been cooking really special dishes lately. Yoochun knew that the other man was also afraid. He knew that behind those happy smiles there was an immense fear he was trying to hide.
“It looks delicious,” he smiled.
Jaejoong smiled back. “Thank you.”
Sadly there was not only fear inside of him. There was also anger. He was mad at himself for being so coward. He was mad at Jaejoong for forgiving him so easily, for not punishing the way he deserved it. Jaejoong was such a good actor. Pretending to be fine all the time, pretending that nothing has happened. And without a doubt he was really mad at Junsu, he was mad because Junsu came to his life and messed it up so bad. He couldn’t fix it anymore.
----------
Junsu walked back and forth not caring if he hit any object every time his body turned around. He was really nervous at the moment because there was something inside of him telling him that his suspicious were real.
He held his phone dealing the number he knew by heart. It was really frustrating. He had tried to call Yoochun for the last past three weeks, but the man just couldn’t pick up. Junsu needed to talk to him, there were just so many things that had not been said and Junsu needed to let them out, he simply needed Yoochun to be there, by his side.
He walked in front of his mirror. His bruises were now almost gone, there was now no more than a slightest yellowish color distinguishing were the big black bruises used to be. He knew he deserved them, but he would have hoped for Jaejoong not to hit him so hard, and for him to not pull his hair the way he did. Days after the incident and the boy still had pain on his head.
Finally someone picked up his call. “Yoochun!” he yelled in excitement.
“Excuse me, who is calling?”
That was not Yoochun, Junsu could recognized his voice anywhere. “I’m sorry but, is Yoochun there? I’m…” was it a good idea to give his name? “I’m Kim Junho, a friend of his.”
“I’m sorry but I do not know any Yoochun.” There was a pause from his side.
“I see, thank you.”
There was no more need to ask. Yoochun had changed his number. Why was he trying to avoid him?
Looking at the clock the boy decided that it was time. He turned around where the sink was. His heart was beating so fast. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath and finally when he opened them the tears came immediately.
“I’m pregnant.”
