Yup. It's a sad, sad tragedy. :( I was reading this on my phone on the way home from work yesterday and had to restrain myself from outright sobbing. :|

I had not realized that this had happened in the Philippines, one because I don't watch the news that much, i don't need to be depressed every night before i go to bed, and I am here in the United States and on my Yahoo page that isn't even listed as a top story (tiger woods divorce is) i had to type it in. After i read about it a little i can say a little of something. I only know a little of Phillipine's history and honestly did not know that there was corruption to the degree that is being accused of your country's national police. There is corruption where ever you go, humans are greed but that doesn't mean we should stand for it.

It is sad that this situation had to happen for things to begin to change and hopefully they will.
