Yeah, standing guard against Mayu made me feel a bit silly, once I realized how serious I was about it. But I am serious about it--the little turd! She eats too much, and steals most of Maka's food, too. I fired a warning shot in front of her when she tried to sneak by me at one point, and it only made her rush to the food dispenser that much faster. She's fearless.

Next, I went and hid out in the kitchen, waiting for her to approach the thing so I could shoot her butt. My goal is to have her think I'm always watching, ready to strike when she breaks into/breaks apart the food machine.

We stared each other down for a while, and Mayu was like, "Oh, I can do this all day. I'll wait you out, puny human." She knows exactly where the boundary is that I don't want her to cross, and she was camping out at that exact spot, just waiting for a sign of weakness or distraction.
