I've been ill for the past few days in one way or another, so I've been doing a lot of thinking in darkened rooms. This always leads to silly thoughts and ideas, so here's my current silly obsession:
Children's safety rules and morals... for Erdreja.
All the fics I've been reading over the past year or so have made me think more and more about the

If you see a group of well armed people in tabards walking purposefully in vaguely the same direction as you, and a smaller group of seemingly unarmed people in nondescript clothing bimbling the other way, run.

Damnit... that's another thing on my to-do list!

Only applies in tolerant cultures. This isn't the modern politically correct world of western democracies. A lot of LT cultures would work the opposite way. Remember some of the prejudices in Erdreja aren't irrational. For example, an Erinnite Human would probably be taught to "Never trust a fae." You've seen some of that from me when I told you not to mark me with the glamour.
Avoid the circles is a good one.

Just because he/she *looks* human doesn't mean they're not just a really toned down fae.
Just because you can't see any weapons doesn't mean they're pushovers. See those poncy guys in white and gold dresses? Don't mess with them!
And you're quite right. Never trust a fae.

It's fun to explore some of the nastier sides of history.

I remember loving the System Override rulebook explaining why so many people played "Blading" (like jugger but more violent, in a world with less healing ability) - as well as being a fast-paced and exciting game, it also encouraged young people to carry knives and so made the streets that bit safer. It was so logical in-game and so worrying to have in a document I'd opened at work :-)

I like that one. I like it a lot.
It's great to see things like that reasoned out in game. As to opening documents in work, I once put a presentation on a usb key for college, and when I went to give the presentation I had to transfer the slides onto the computer while the projector was running. I suddenly became very glad that I'd titled the fantasy story I was working on "Responsibility" rather than anything more descriptive!

Lessons "Avoid Void Wibbly". "What's that?" "Pretty much everything, and avoid Mrs Figgis".

Avoiding void wibbly is a very sensible one, and so is avoiding Mrs Figgis!

Arden (to nursery-school-aged children going on a trip):
What do we do in the transport circle?
Tots:
All hold hands!
Arden:
And what do we *never* do in the transport circle?
Tots:
Push or fight!
Arden:
And what do we say when we're finished transporting?
Tots:
Thank you St. Cuthbert for keeping us safe in the Void!
