Chapter Nineteen: What de ass?

"So, you'll be fine, right?" Aoi asked as he pulled on a white dress shirt. He was going off to meet a business partner by the name of Yoshiki.
"Mmhmm." Uruha snuggled deeper into the covers. He couldn't help but notice how sexy Aoi looked.
"Call me if you need me," Aoi kissed Uruha on the forehead and tousled his blonde tresses.
"Alright." Uruha hugged Aoi and breathed in his Bvlgari cologne before he left the hotel room. Uruha watched the soap opera on the television for a minute. His eyelids started drooping slowly. Uruha sneezed and gave a sniffle before dozing off slightly, feeling very fat, very large and very pregnant.

~

"ROOM SERVAAAASSSS!!" The door sounded like it was about to be knocked over. By something large and angry. Uruha sat up with a start.
"Room service?" Uruha murmured, rubbing the sleep out his eyes.
"YES, ROOM SERVASS." The door answered.
"Coming!" Uruha slipped on a bathrobe-he had to stretch it over his large bump- and stepped over to open the door. To his amazement, a large Jamaican woman in a bright yellow dress was standing there.
"Good mornin', child!!" She reached over and pinched Uruha's cheeks before engulfing him in a tight embrace. "My name be Theresa!!" Theresa smelled of coconut hand lotion and Lysol.
"Uruha." Uruha's voice was muffled by Theresa's hug.
"Oooh, child, I KNOW who YOU be! That sweet child Aoi hired me, yeh he did, he be a good to you, child. Now you be good to me and get dress, y'hear? He be a tellin' me to take care of you. Now get dressed. We be going out for a walk."

The Day Before...
Ruki munched on his watermelon slice and flicked the seeds at Reita, who was sitting next to him at the kitchen table, reading a tabloid magazine. Reita looked up in annoyance.
"I'm pregnant. The baby's, like, telling me to do this." Ruki explained.
Reita nodded and went back to his magazine. Then he looked back up, worried.
"Babies do that to you?"
Ruki rolled his eyes.
"My God. If they do that to you, please don't have another. I don't want you throwing other stuff at me! MY GOD! What if the things you throw get heavier as you have more children? MY GOD!"
Reita started to hyperventilate.
"I'm gonna be a father." He took another ragged breath. "I'm gonna be a father."
Ruki flicked another watermelon seed at him.
"Loser. Just don't have, like, sex. Then I won't get pregnant again." Ruki frowned at Reita. "Hey, wait a minute!" Ruki thought for a second. "Does that mean you don't, like, want, like, THIS, baby? Asshole.  YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE FREAKIN' COUCH TONIGHT!!" Reita stopped abruptly in his tracks.
"Ruuukiii. Babyyy. I love you. You know that, right?" Reita walked over and hugged Ruki to his body. "You know I was only joking! We could have six billion kids if you like!"
"Say all you want, asshole. You're still, like, sleeping on the freakin' couch. I hate you. So much. I hate you I hate you I hate you I so totally hate you."
Reita sighed and scratched at his temple slightly.
"I'll take you shopping. Anything you like. Anything." Ruki turned around and gave Reita a peck on the cheek.
"I love you, Reita."

Reita picked up a toothbrush. "Wow. They sell these at drugstores?"
"Iunno." Ruki didn't even give the toothbrush a glance. Reita glanced down and over to see what Ruki was looking at. Pregnancy tests. Reita walked over and crouched next to Ruki.
"Hey. Why are you looking at those?" Reita said quietly into Ruki's ear.
Ruki gazed at Reita with sober eyes before returning his eyes to the boxes.
"You didn't take me seriously, did you?" Reita nudged Ruki softly.
Ruki nudged back with force, however, Reita stood his ground.
"Actually, I really like the fact that you're pregnant. With my child. And I'd love to have more kids with you."
Ruki looked to the ground.
"You know why?"
Ruki shook his head slightly. "Tell me," he said in a small voice, looking for all the world like a small frightened child.
"'Cause I love you, stupid. I thought you knew that!"
Ruki couldn't help but smile. He nudged Reita again and Reita enveloped him in a tight embrace.
"I hate you." Ruki said, burying his face into Reita's shirt.
"I love you too." Reita kissed Ruki's head.
"So it doesn't matter what trimester the baby in, this can terminate it anytime?" Ruki looked up. That voice... Coming from the back of the store... It was so familiar...
Absent-mindedly, he gently pushed Reita to the side and crawled towards the end of the aisle.
"What the hell?" Ruki whispered when he saw who the source of the sound was.
Midori.
"What? Why are we whispering? Hey! Isn't that--" Reita was cut off by Ruki slapping a hand to his mouth.
"Shhhhh!!!"
"That's right," the pharmacist behind the counter said. "However, you need a prescription. We can't just hand fetus poison out to the world, you know."
"Oh, I'm a obsteatrician. I know these things. Besides, I need it incase one of those teenage pregnant girls come in and need something quick and speedy." Midori then fluttered her eyelashes and slid her hand over the counter to lightly touch the pharmacist's.
The pharmacist gave a slight wheeze. He closed his eyes. Ruki could see his chest rise and fall rapidly.
His hand dipped under the counter and pulled out a flat plastic package. The pharmacist then slid the box towards Midori.
Midori smiled and took it in her hands (claws, according to Ruki). She winked at the pharmacist before walking towards the cashier.
"BITCH!" Ruki stood up and screamed. A lady in the same aisle as him ran away, frightened.
Reita looked up at Ruki.
"Get up," Ruki said. "We're going to, like, totally stop her before it's actually too late!" Ruki grabbed Reita up by the hand. "To the Reita-mobile!"
"I don't like where this is going," Reita whispered to himself as Ruki pushed him out of the drugstore. And as you could guess, people nearby stared.

As they walked to their car, Ruki whipped out his cell phone. He made calls during the whole trip to Kai's house. Reita looked on nervously, afraid of what will happen next. Knowing Ruki, Reita had good reason to be afraid. The traffic light became red and Reita pressed on the brake pedal. Then he faced Ruki.
"Um, Ruki?"
"Yes, Reita?"
"What are we doing, exactly?"
Ruki turned towards Reita with a creepy smile on his face. His long burgandy fringe completely covered his eyes, adding to an overall psychotic image. Ruki chuckled a bit. Reita gulped.
"Nevermind, I don't want to know." Reita then said hastily.
"First, we're, like, hiring a bodyguard for Uruha. I sooooo don't trust that bitch of a bitch, Midori. Then, we are finding a way to, like,  sabotage Midori's trip to where Uruha is.... She seems to, like, totally know where he is. All the freakin' time. Stalker.. I wish she wasn't, like, so much of a asswipe so she could, like,  teach me a few pointers. The bodyguard for Uruha should, like, deal with Midori and, like, her body afterwards. Heh heh heh."
Reita's eyes grew wide. "B-b-body?"
All he got was in reply was another "Heh heh heh."
Reita then jumped in surprise when the cars behind them started to honk their horns. The traffic light was green and for a long time too, it seems.
Meekly, Reita pushed the gas pedal and started to drive again. Ruki stared out the window. He noticed a well-built, bald man in sunglasses following them. The man was running. He was catching up.
Not wanting to alarm Reita, Ruki dialed a number on his phone again.
"Just in case..." Ruki murmured.

Back to the present..

In the washroom, Uruha took out his cell phone.
"Plz help, crazy woman broke in. Im scared!!! She claims 2 know u. What do i do?? >_<" Uruha urgently typed out the message and sent it to Aoi. Then Theresa thumped on the door.
"Lawd, how long does it take for a ting like you ter get ready? Be fasta, or I'mma comin' in!"
Uruha took a sharp intake of breath, then he put on whatever articles of clothing he could find (Polo shirt, Aoi's black jeans) and peeked out of the bathroom door.
Theresa was still there. Her eyes followed Uruha as he walked out of the bathroom and put on his trench coat. Uruha fell in love with trench coats ever since Ruki dragged Kai and him into that disguise store to stalk Midori. They covered his pregnancy quite well. Uruha turned towards Theresa, who was sitting in an armchair, still watching him.
"Umm," Uruha started.
"Yes?" Theresa leapt up, the stiff armchair stuck onto her grand body. "What de ass? Damn chairs," Theresa muttered under her breath as she yanked it off, breaking only one leg. Uruha stifled a giggle.
"Yes?" Theresa said again.
"Not to be rude or anything, but... Why are you here?"
Theresa took a deep breath before what appeared to be scratching her ear. But then she whispered into it, "He's bein' onto me."
"What's that at your ear?"
"He knows! I thank he knows! I told'ya! I told'y'all that he would know!" Theresa went into an almost-panic attack. Uruha took a step back, frightened yet strangely amused at the same time.
"Evacuate! Evacuate immediately! Like, now!" Said the little earpiece. Uruha could see it clearly now.
"Wait, what?" Uruha walked over towards Theresa, who was clutching her chest, her big lips parted as she drew in deep wheezy breaths. "RUKI?"
There was a slight pause.
"Shit."

"..So basically, I need to get out of this hotel room? Right now?"
"Yes, child. We's have a right ter believe that somebuddeh's out ter get'cha."
"Well, I haven't been mean to anyone lately... I pay my bills..."
"Think, child! They says you was smart! Who wants yo' baby daddy?"
"Midori?"
"Midori."
"What does she have to do with anything?"
There was a knock on the door, frightening Theresa, who yelped "WHAT DE ASS?" very loudly.
"I'll be answerin' that. Can't be trusting no one no where."
She peered through the peephole on the door. "Good, good," she rubbed her hands together happily before swinging the door open a crack. Ruki slipped in.
"Ruki!!" Uruha tried to hug him, but his large bump just bounced the little man off. "Sorry," Uruha said apologetically as Ruki picked himself off the carpet.
"Just don't, like, mind me now! We totally have to get you out of here THIS. INSTANT!"
"Didn't yer say that Reita be comin' with'chu?"
"He got a little, like, traumatized with the, like, hit man."
"HIT MAN?" Uruha's eyes became the size of saucers.
"Totally. The bitch has gone fuckin' insane. She wants that baby of yours GONE, like, no matter WHAT."
"She be a witch. Whoevuh be wantin' a child dead has got ta be a witch."
"Yeah!" Theresa and Ruki bumped their fists together. It was quite a bizarre sight, watching the large black woman in her yellow dress and straw hat giving props to the little man in his inflated hair and tight leather clothes, adorned with chains.
"Which is why, we totally gotta like, bring that bitch DOWN."
"I'm scared," Uruha said in hushed tones.
"Oh ho ho, my child. 'Tis that witch who shoulda be scared."
"What are we going to do?" Uruha was almost afraid to ask.
"Well, we kinda have to know where, like, she is, right? We have some of their hit men down already... Miyavi's totally taken care of that. In the mean time, we have to, like, keep you safe and out of danger."
"Does Aoi know about this?"
"I dunno... Where is Aoi, anyway?"
"Working with a guy named Yoshiki. Why?"
"YOSHIKI?" Ruki exchanged a glance with Theresa.
"Chiiild, he be gone. Yoshiki's in America, baby. Press conference..I think... Somethin' ter do with a hooka he be findin' on the streets. You'll neva believe it, child! It turn' out to be a MAN!"
"Oh my gosh, WHAT?"
"That means, it's a lie! We have to totally, like, go find Aoi!"
"NOOOOO! He hasn't been returning my texts! Oh my gosh, what if Midori's got him?" Uruha gave Theresa's hand a tight squeeze. Theresa's face puckered and she made a squelching sound.
"No no, Midori's, like, somewhere in this hotel. I'm totally sure Aoi is fine!" Ruki patted Uruha's shoulder.
Theresa gave a loud cough. It sounded a bit like "doubt it."

Aoi gave his watch another impatient glance. Yoshiki was an hour late. The waiter offered Aoi some more coffee, which Aoi obliged to.
"Excuse me, did the gentleman who reserved this table disclose when he would be arriving?" Aoi then inquired.
"No, I don't believe so, sir. Allow me to go check."
Aoi stirred his unsipped coffee and watched as his waiter hurried back.
"Err, excuse me sir, were you to meet a man named Yoshiki?"
"Why yes, how come?"
"Well, sir, Yoshiki is apparently in America, something to do with, um, a male prostitute of some sort?"
Aoi's mind blew a fuse. However, he remained calm. "A male prostitute, you say?"
The waiter looked down at his feet to hide the fact that he was just barely containing his badly-supressed laughter.
"Yes, sir." He whispered, entire body shaking from his amusement.
So that's why Yoshiki needed a lawyer... Aoi though to himself. Ah well. He might as well just go home then.
"Hmm. I see. I'll be going now, then." The waiter stopped laughing and stared up at Aoi. Aoi looked back into his eyes. He then realized that the waiter was no older than he was. The waiter seemed to be thinking the same thing.
"Hey, you don't have any kids, do you?" Aoi asked.
"No. Can't even hold down a girlfriend," The guy shook his head.
Aoi took out a twenty dollar bill and laid it down on the table before standing up to leave. The waiter looked at it.
"Keep the change," Aoi said, not glancing back as he stepped out the glass door.
He picked up the money and stared at it some more before shifting his glance towards the door where Aoi was.
"The coffee was free, you know!"

"Window."
"Door."
"Window."
"Door."
"WINDOW, BITCH! Midori would TOTALLY NEVER EVER think of, like, using the WINDOW!"
"In case you forgot, we're both pregnant. Me especially. I can hardly fit into my clothes now, let alone THAT thing," Uruha exclaimed, pointing to the window.
Theresa chuckled from the armchair; she seemed to have forgotten that it trapped her and got stuck to her grand bottom last time she decided to indulge in a stiff hotel chair.
Ruki and Uruha were heatedly debating on the best methods to exit the hotel. They had narrowed it down to the window and the door. Ruki had previously suggested the air vent, breaking a hole into the wall and disguising as concierges ("pregnant concierges, Ruki?").
The two were immediately silenced as they heard the jingling of keys outside the door. Thinking it was Aoi, Uruha hastily tried to shove Ruki into a closet to hide him. Ruki wrestled against Uruha (he was failing miserably; Uruha was taller by a good amount) and Theresa tried her hardest to yank the chair out from her behind.
They stopped all movement once they heard Aoi say, "Midori?"
Theresa, furniture and all, stumbled towards the door to pry it open. Aoi was standing about three feet away from the door, staring down at Midori, who was at the door.
She was dressed in all black, with her hair bundled up in a black toque. All you could see was her eyes, but one could still tell it was her. Uruha and Ruki exchanged a glance and peered out the door.
The keyhole of the doorknob was jammed with bobbypins and unbent paper clips, as if Midori were trying to pick the lock.
Then, as if they were cued, a whole swarm of people turned a corner and came running towards them. Jui was trying to keep his balance on giant sparkly platform shoes; Shinya carried a chainsaw; Shou was unconcious and was carried by both Saga and Tora, who were having difficulty dragging him and running at the same time. Both Uruha and Ruki's mothers were trailing behind and Hiroto lead the pack of insanity.
Hiroto unfortunately tripped, bringing everybody down with him. Shinya's chainsaw went flying through the air and landed right in front of Aoi, who flinched and gaped at the weapon before peering warily at the gang of people on the floor before him.
"We came as reinforcements!" Tora announced from underneath Shinya.
Reita instantly appeared, jogging. He came to a screeching halt when he saw the chainsaw and the human pile, courtesy of Hiroto.
"Uhh, Ruki? I got your message..." Reita said, looking around for the man.
Jui pushed Tora's face out of the way and stood up. He cleared his throat before announcing, "Aoi, baby. Let's get this straight, mmkay? This," he pointed at Midori, "has been causing this," Jui reached over with his four inch nails to grab Uruha out of the room and into the stuffed hallway, "grief. How? By accusing you of infidelity. With whom? With her. Why? I'm not entirely sure, but mostly likely because she's one psycho son-of-a-bitch."
"I'm a WOMAN." Midori snarled.
"Could have fooled me!" Saga nudged Tora and everybody snickered at her.
Aoi rubbed his forehead and looked around at everyone in disbelief of the whole chaotic situation. "Is this true?" He whispered.
Everybody nodded. Ruki's mother stood up.
"For a lawyer, you're pretty darn stupid. Couldn't you tell she's evil? Anybody who wears red alligator ballet flats with silver hardware is BOUND to be evil."
"Oh yeah?" Midori stood up. All the bobbypins and paperclips on her lap fell to the floor. "They're way better looking than that thing you call a handbag. Plus, they're DESIGNER."
"They're UGLY. Bitch, please. I've got more style in my pinky nail than in your entire body. That toque you're wearing makes me want to puke."
"And stop wearing blue eyeshadow, that's my thing!" Saga shouted.
"Stop, stop. Everyone, stop. Midori, why are you doing this?" Aoi looked tired. Uruha guitily looked down and rubbed his bump, also wanting to know why.
Midori looked bitter. Uruha glanced her and saw that she was very much in pain.
Long surpressed emotional pain.
"I loved you, Aoi. I gave up everything for you. My scholarship. My friends. My family. My virginity." (Ruki made a gagging noise.)
"You just went and dumped me. I hated you." Midori's voice choked. "So damn much. Why, Aoi? Why did you do that? We were the best thing ever and you had to go and destroy it. Now," she continued, eyes flashing with anger, "I'm destroying you. You and that thing you call Uruha. I have it all planned out. If it went my way, you won't have any kids. At least not with him."
"Midori..." Uruha turned towards Aoi, anxious of what he was going to say next. "Go home. You have a job. Go get a life. Leave mine alone. What's done is done, please don't dwell on the past. I dumped you because you were clingy, obnoxious and rude to my mother. And Uruha? Yeah, I think I'm gonna have kids with him. In case you couldn't tell, he's pregnant and usually, pregnancy leads to children. Now kindly exit the building before I am forced to notify the authorities."
Midori took a step towards Aoi.
"Make me."
Shinya, who had silently slipped out of the heap, had gone to his chainsaw. He held it in his hands and turned it on. It made a freaky, menacing sound.
And that was the last Uruha ever saw of Midori. She took off before Shinya had a chance to maul her.
Aoi let out a deep sigh. "I believe this calls for a restraining order!" He embraced Uruha. "Sorry you had to deal with all that. I thought she was okay with the whole break-up thing," he whispered into his ear before kissing it.
Uruha relaxed into his hug. "I'm okay. I'm pretty sure the baby is, too."
"Let's go home," Aoi declared. There was a unanimous murmur of approval as everyone got up from the pile and brushed themselves off.
"Hear, hear!" Uruha's mother rubbed Uruha on the cheeks lovingly before heading off for home with Ruki's other. "You were always my brave little boy."
Shou was still unconcious, and Hiroto was left to carry him as a punishment for tripping. "Why, oh, WHY did Shou have to drink so much soymilk before leaving the house?" He cried. Saga and Tora helped yank the chair off of Theresa and Shinya lovingly carried the chainsaw as they sauntered downstairs. Ruki clutched Reita's arm and sang the whole way down the aisle. "Ding dong, the bitch is dead! Which bitch? Midori the bitch!"
Jui, however, hung back.
"SAY! Uruha baby! Since you're like gonna have more kids and all, how's about naming one after me?"

A/N: all i can say is, SORRY! SORRY! SORRY! SORRY FOR THE LATENESS!
this is the last chapter before the final chapter and the epilogue.
