Isn't there a belief in Buddhism that you are supposed to treasure all forms of life, even if they be little green ones with leaves? If you are going to keep Tibetan prayer flags, I'm sure the monks would appreciate if stopped killing living things! I mean, that plant could've been Crazy's childhood puppy reincanated as a plant. Do you want to be the one responsible for killing his childhood puppy? Huh?! Do ya?!

Do ye speak of the plant who's purchase I witnessed? Oh Rachel, leave the plants be, stick to Brazilians and strawberry martinis. At least they can be consumed and unmissed ;)
