This picking out a range thing sucks. I can't decide what I want. The hubby wants me to get exactly what I want because when we move, we can opt to take it with us, or sell it with the house for a good price and buy me it again. But I don't know what I want ( Read more... )

Don't get smooth top. We had them for years and they're the biggest pain the ass to clean ever. I like gas ranges, personally.

I bit the bullet and bought one this afternoon. The hubby and I used to have a Corning Ware top in one place we lived and that one SUCKED for cleaning. Even water made black marks. This one is a glass top, so its "easy clean" according to the information I got. Bonus: If I don't like it, I have 30 days to return it for a refund or exchange. Bye Bye $700...*sigh*
