I made it to the city in good time yesterday, and spent the day cleaning and packing my sisters kitchen for her move. Having a good time, although I am fricking tired tonite...I miss my hubby and my animals. That is all.

Last day full time with my current job. I'm not even as sad as I thought I would be. Partly because I already know I am working here next Saturday for a 25, 50, 100 dollar sale. My dad was very sad last night. He misses his Mom in Quebec and she has to go for surgery in September sometime. I told him I would do whatever it takes to get him there to stay with her during the surgery and after to help take care of her. Thank goodness for Uncle Visa and Airmiles. Its hard to see your dad sad.

I had a lovely over night trip to the cottage this past weekend. Life’s problems seem to slip away when you’re sitting by the lake or watching a fire. Unfortunately, you still have to come home and keep working on problems, because they just don’t disappear. The block party Saturday night was great, from the food, music and conversation. Well, I just got a call about the Financial Clerk position I interviewed for last Wednesday. I came in second. If the girl that came in first doesn't take the position, its mine. I guess I didn't get the radio operator position, since my cell was silent all afternoon yesterday. It's fine with me because it means I am one step closer to having July off. A little disappointed, but I kinda knew I blew it, so, I wasn't surprised. Its their loss anyway.

After careful consideration and chatting with numerous friends, I know what I will do.
